The Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa enabled nationals from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland to establish, join or take over a business in the UK. This route has, however, closed to new entrants.
The category remains open for applications from dependants of existing Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrants seeking to join the main applicant in the UK and for existing Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrants who wish to apply to extend their visa (until 5 April 2023) or apply for settlement / Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) (until 5 April 2025).
Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) migrants were permitted to switch into the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) route until 5 July 2021, and these individuals will have until 5 July 2025 to apply for extensions, and 5 July 2027 to apply for ILR.
We can advise you of the requirements relating to the Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) route and assist you in preparing your application.
